I was diagnosed as a Juvenile Diabetic at the age of 15 at All India Inst of Medical Sciences (AlIMS), New Delhi, a premier Health Care agency of India. During my treatment over there in  the1980s, I developed a keen interest to pursue my career that directly helped young type-1 diabetics. There was no turning back and I became the very first Diabetes Educator of India delivering not only structured diabetes patient education  programs but also informal ones like residential camps, picnics for diabetics.
I have worked at two premium hospitals:  All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Fortis C-DOC, India and currently work as a free lancer
